34th Black College Awareness Fair

The Morehouse College Bay Area Alumni Association is proud to participate in the 34th Black College Awareness Fair on Saturday, October 3, 2026, hosted by the Ivy & Pearls Foundation and the Rho Delta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., in partnership with the College of San Mateo.

This annual event connects students and families with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), offering opportunities to learn about admissions, scholarships, financial aid, campus life, and the unique educational experience HBCUs provide.

Students and families will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from HBCUs across the country, attend informative sessions, and explore scholarship and college planning resources.

The Morehouse College Bay Area Alumni Association and Spelman alumnae invite you to our annual SpelHouse Summer BBQ on Saturday, July 11, 2026.

This family-friendly event is an opportunity for alumni, students, supporters, and friends to come together for an afternoon of community, connection, and celebration. Guests can enjoy great food, music, games, and fellowship in a relaxed outdoor setting at Lake Chabot Regional Park.

Morehouse Bay Area Family Fishing Day

Bring your family and friends for a fun day of Fishing at stocked trout pond. You are guaranteed to catch a fish. Snack and drinks will be provided. You pay for what you catch. Pole rental is $15. Entree is fee $8 per person. Children under 3 are free. Bring your own poles if you have them. We will also provide bait. https://hagemannranch.com/

Where and what time to meet.

We will meet at the Target parking lot in Emeryville at 9:00 am on Saturday to caravan to Hagemann Ranch or you can meet us at Hagemann Ranch at 10:00 am. Please RSVP so we know how much food and drinks to bring. I will also bring extra poles, bait and tackle.

It's back! Morehouse Bay Area Alumni will be hosting our 2021 Summer Picnic at the end of the month.

It's been a long time since we've been able safely gather and share brotherhood with each other, and it's been even longer since we hosted our annual BBQ, so we're looking forward to seeing you all there. We encourage members to come out and reconnect, and invite prospective, incoming, and current students as well.
